Commercial building maintenance

We offer a complete facilities maintenance package that includes the following building and engineering services:

  • Heating
  • Air conditioning
  • Ventilation
  • Electrical testing (PAT testing and hard wire testing)
  • Plumbing
  • Drainage
  • Water treatment
  • Fire alarms
  • Chimney sweeping
  • ‘Handyman’ and building repairs service including flooring, roofing  joinery, plastering, painting, decorating and locks

Clients can be involved in designing a personalised maintenance package which includes preventative maintenance and/or order reactive repairs on particular equipment/fabric.

Commercial maintenance contracts

A commercial maintenance contract provides planned safety and condition checks on your building’s equipment and fabric. The frequency of the checks is flexible, however, we advise two servicing visits on all mechanical appliances, including  heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment, as well as an annual inspection of all electrical appliances (both PAT testing and hard wiring testing).

We will arrange and manage the building’s servicing and inspection schedule ensuring we help maximise its lifecycle by pre-empting potential repairs and breakdowns. Often maintenance checks can highlight small repairs which, if unnoticed, could become significant and potentially cause disruption to the workplace and building environment.  Regular servicing and inspection will also help to maximise operating efficiency.

Other benefits to commercial maintenance contracts include an out of hours emergency breakdown service.

As part of the commercial maintenance contract, we also offer an emergency breakdown repair service, available 24 hours a day/365 days a year. The service runs continuously throughout weekends, Bank and Public Holidays, including the Christmas/New Year Period.

Commercial maintenance contracts – tailored to your requirements

Maintenance contracts are tailored to the needs of each client. 

Each maintenance contract is designed to ensure that the plant and equipment continues to operate at its ultimate efficiency, reducing energy expenditure and costly breakdowns.

We will prepare a contract quote based on the building’s (office or premise) equipment and your specific requirements, including the service level priorities and response times. 

Helpdesk and Service Centre

The servicing and maintenance contracts are managed by efficient customer service and helpdesk staff located Coolfactor’s Head Office in Greater London. 

The helpdesk team is highly trained in call handling and scheduling, dealing with customer queries, logging repair orders and managing the deployment of engineers.

The helpdesk team uses a sophisticated computer system to record, allocate and monitor work orders to enable effective management.
