Corporate social responsibility
Corporate social responsibility is an integral part of our operations. We understand the balance which must be struck between achieving our corporate business goals and the economic, social and environmental impact of our activities. As a result our strategies incorporate measures for safeguarding the environment, working with local communities and protecting our employees.
Where possible we aim to work in partnership with local communities and other stakeholders to increase awareness and promote understanding, by encouraging innovative approaches to exceeding performance levels in key areas such as health and safety, the environment and equal opportunities.
Carbon footprint
The issues surrounding climate change and carbon emissions are wide ranging and diverse. Tying into our commitment to ethical sourcing, we are dedicated to using local supply chain partners wherever possible.
We have also implemented the use of vehicle tracking, which allows us to select our nearest engineer to each activity. This system ensures not only the reduction of mileage and carbon emissions, but also provides a speedier and more efficient service for our clients.
In addition, our vehicle fleet is regularly reviewed to enable us to understand our existing carbon profile, with a view to achieving continuous reduction.
Reducing our waste is also a fundamental aspect; we are committed to reducing onsite waste generation, as well as improving our recycling initiatives.
